New Maruti Swift Specs & Variant-Wise Price List [2018]

Maruti Suzuki Swift is one among the best-selling hatchbacks in India. The car is now available in the third generation model, using safer, stiffer and lightweight Heartect platform for better mileage and enhanced safety of the passengers. The car comes with modern design lines, wider than ever stance and sporty rear end for a perfect Swift feel. The top spec variant comes with projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, machine cut alloy wheels, Smartplay infotainment system, and all black interiors. Maruti uses the familiar 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, and 1.3L, turbocharged diesel engine on the car. Swift diesel is good for 74 hp at 4000 rpm and 190 Nm at 2000 rpm. The engine comes mated to an AMT (optional) and 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the petrol motor is good for 82 hp at 6000 rpm and 113 Nm at 4200 rpm. Swift offers the gearbox options on both engines, making rivals sweat before the mighty hatchback in terms of monthly sales number. Buyers can consider getting a Baleno if space is their primary motive but, the sporty feel of Swift will be replaced with an elegant sedan-derived interior of the Baleno.
