Thursday USCIS announced that applicants, petitioners, requesters and beneficiaries can now call the USCIS contact center if they need to reschedule their biometric appointments - that are scheduled at USCIS Application Support Centers. Before the announcement, applicants had to send in requests in writing to change the date or time of their biometrics appointments. USCIS says this change can help minimize unnecessary paperwork and will allow them to track the requests more efficiently.
