Let's Play Assassin's Creed 3 Episode 38: Building Barrels

The Homestead missions and crafting system are intricate, but don't really seem to unlock anything resembling their full potential until much later in the game. Thus, they seem kind of pointless at this stage. Still, one is encouraged to attempt them. Did I miss something? Tell me in the comments. ---- I recorded this set of episodes on Saturday, November 24. The video quality may be a bit off at times; AVS was giving me trouble. It took me until Day 4 to remember to adjust my mic so as not to pick up my breathing and to stop eating snacks while recording. Also, from time to time, I get some framerate lag; it only happens while recording, so I think my poor machine is just getting stressed. Recording specs: 1280x1024, all video settings at normal. Software: FRAPS for recording, AVS Video Editor for conversion, AVS Video ReMaker to split. Hardware: AMD Phenom II X4 945, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 5450.
