Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident on I-35 in Austin, TX

Travis County, TX — January 5, 2025: Authorities reported that a pedestrian was killed following a car accident around 2:00 a.m. along Interstate 35 in Austin. According to officials, the incident occurred near Koenig Lane in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 290. Investigators said that, for reasons not yet released, a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle while on the interstate. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision, authorities said.
