On a very cold day at the beginning of May (the first time Gloves have had to be worn in the middle of Spring) The North Wales Coast Reverberated with the sound of double headed Great Western Steam, in the form of Vintage Trains' 'Llandudno Victorian Fayre' from Tyseley to Llandudno hauled by 4965 'Rood Ashton Hall' & 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe'. Having run early most of the way from Tyseley, the pair are seen approaching Holywell Junction, between Flint and Prestatyn on the outbound leg. We then move to Llandudno Junction, where the pair are seen emerging from Conwy Castle running exactly 1 hour late, having turned on the triangle at Valley, Anglesey. With the train running as late as it was, the train did not run up the Llandudno Branch as planned but departed for Tyseley from Llandudno Junction.
