Two weeks ago, we said goodbye to our brother, Detective Sergeant Frank Gualdino. Frank was the perfect example of what it meant to be a husband, father, friend, and Yonkers Police Officer. At his final sendoff, thousands of service members from near and far came to Yonkers to pay their respects to a man who epitomized all that is good in the Police profession and the world. A “Sea of Blue” brought North Yonkers to a halt as we gave Frank the tribute he deserved. Thank you to all the agencies that helped us make this tribute possible, including the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) Ceremonial Unit and the Pipes and Drums of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester. Also, thank you to The High Kings for allowing us to use their beautiful rendition of “The Parting Glass” for this tribute, as well as Mike Somma and Jonny Castro Art for their incredible artwork. A special thank you to Westchester Drone Ops, who provided aerial and ground video coverage of Detective Sergeant Gualdino’s final sendoff and worked tirelessly with us to put this video together. As always, thank you to our amazing Yonkers community for your continued support and condolences during this difficult time. #FidelisAdMortem #LODD #salute #EOW Music Credits: "The Parting Glass" by The High Kings This track was used for this specific tribute video with explicit written permission by The High Kings.
