NBA 2K18 My League Ep. 3: First Trade Offer & Second Injury [Realistic NBA 2K18 My League Expansion]

Our NBA 2K18 My League series continues with the first trade offer of the season! Will we accept what the Lakers are offering? We also play and simulate a few more games against the Sixers, Lakers, Jazz, Trail Blazers and Cavaliers. Those games take their toll on us as we soon have another injury to add to our troubles. To wrap things up we also re-visit the topic of draft classes, especially this years’ class with potential superstars like Luka Doncic or Marvin Bagley. In this third episode of the NBA 2K18 My League Expansion series, we receive our first trade offer from the Los Angeles Lakers, who are interested in Maurice Harkless. Ultimately, we decline the offer for the purpose of realism, but it still helps to get a glimpse at who might be available later. With trade talks out of the way we jump into our second game of the season against the Philadelphia 76ers. Once again our opponents are too much to handle for our young team who end up losing a close game at home. We also suffer another injury that sets us back even further and is one of the reasons that more losses follow in the next games. We finally manage to give the Cleveland Cavaliers a run for their money, but in the end, Lebron James and company prevail and two weeks into the season we remain without a single win… NBA 2K18 on Amazon: ► Amazon US: http://amzn.to/2fsRqs9 ► Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/2jADgtq ► Amazon DE: http://amzn.to/2xI8rJG ► Click here for the full NBA 2K18 My League expansion team playlist to watch all episodes of my My League series:    • Pete Completes: NBA 2K18 My League Mode Ex...   ► Subscribe to my channel for more content for NBA 2K18 and NBA 2K17, as well as Completionist Let’s Plays and Walkthroughs:    / @petecomplete   Facebook: https://fb.me/PeteCompleteOfficial Twitter:   / pete_complete   This NBA 2K18 video is part of my NBA 2K18 My League series. During the series, we will manage all aspects of an NBA expansion team, trying to keep things as realistic as possible. We will not abuse NBA 2K18’s trade logic or make more than only a handful of roster moves each season. Instead, we will slowly but steadily try to improve the team with players who fit in and can add something to the roster. The ultimate goal of this My League series is to win the NBA championship with our expansion team, but before we can celebrate there is a lot of hard work to do. My original plans were to play through NBA 2K18 My GM mode with an expansion team, but after 2K added a storyline to My GM mode, choosing an expansion team is no longer possible there. Instead, we have to stick to My League, which sadly lacks a few of the interesting features that My GM had. Still, My League offers greater customization and control, especially when it comes to trading (and keeping the CPU away from completing borderline insane roster moves). NBA 2K18 is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. It is the 19th installment in the NBA 2K franchise and the successor to NBA 2K17. It was released worldwide on September 15, 2017, for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Several game modes are included, such as My Career, where the player creates a customizable player and plays through their career, My GM and My League, both franchise modes where the player controls an entire organization, and My Team, where the player creates a team to compete against other players' teams. All NBA 2K18 gameplay for this video was recorded on the PC at 1080p. Disclaimer: The links above are Amazon affiliate links.
