Bagare baingan is one of the best dishes which is a part of the Hyderabadi cuisine made with round eggplants. It is served as a side dish with the Bagara Rice or Hyderabadi Biryani. Traditionally this dish is made by simmering stuffed eggplants/brinjal in a gravy base made from slow roasted and ground poppy seeds, sesame seeds, peanuts & coconut which gives a very aromatic and rich taste to this dish.
