Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 display issue. Purple blinking screen and overlay issue;Turn Off Full Screen

Recently, I just installed roller coaster tycoon 3 for my son on PC. Right now the easiest way is by purchasing a megapack 9 game license and installing it through steam (yes.. I know.. it's annoying that you have to go through steam.) Long story short,.. if you're having display issues when first running RCT3... it might be an issue with full screen mode. The problem for me.. is that the default resolution is set too high for my display. And so when it goes into full screen mode (by default), I get this weird blinking problem usually with purple overlay of sorts. So,.. in RCT3, go to Options, and on the first screen, you can disable Full Screen mode. Hopefully that fixes your problem.
