Actress Melanie Kinnaman (Friday the 13th Part V) - Full Interview Airs July 5, 2022

On my next new episode airing on Saturday, July 9, I'm interviewing Scream Queen Melanie Kinnaman! Melanie played "Pam Roberts" in Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning. She's also had number of guest staring roles in shows like Cheers, Hill Street Blues and General Hospital. When Friday the 13th Part V was originally released in 1985, it received backlash by some fans because it went in a different direction from prior films in the franchise. It has since found a loyal audience. I absolutely loved our conversation and found Melanie to be inspiring. Melanie talks about her experience making the film, what it means to be part of an iconic franchise, and we discussed her past and future projects. We also talked about how the Friday the 13th films are more than just 80's slasher flicks and why they resonate with the LGBTQ community, particularly her role of Pam Roberts in Friday the 13th Part V.
