Chile president and Swedish PM hold talks

(10 May 2016) Chilean President Michelle Bachelet held talks with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven in Stockholm on Tuesday - the first day of her state visit to the Scandinavian country. Following bilateral talks, the two delegations signed a number of agreements ranging from trade and investment to sustainability and development. At a news conference after the meeting, Lofven said that there were "some 50,000 people living in Sweden with roots in Chile" after many sought refuge following the coup in 1973.
