"You were never broken, Viktor" ❤️ Sorry this cuts off so abruptly, I had to trim it to avoid copyright! Anyway, I'll never get over the gear. I think it symbolizes how corrupted their dream became, and how pure their intentions started out. It was the first thing Jayce and Viktor tested their Hextech on, and while the one Viktor held in season 2 episode 6 was not the exact same one, I think while holding it, he remembered how they started out, and where their journies ultimately/tragically led. One side was covered in paint, while the other was clean, which ties perfectly into Viktor's ending monologue of Act 2. Long story short, Jayce and Viktor's storylines were just so so good, and in my opinion, the BEST part about Arcane, even though the entire show is absolutely beautiful. Two sides of the same coin, both going to different extremes and eventually, finding each other again in the end. I'm obsessed (and sad).
