Interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS is a rare visitor from outside our solar system that will make its closest approach to Earth on 19 December 2025 at about 1.8 astronomical units away (≈270 million km) — far too distant to pose any danger. The best time that day is around 0600 UTC (≈11:30 a.m. IST) when it reaches minimum distance, though it will be in the sky earlier in the early predawn hours. 3I/ATLAS cannot be seen with the naked eye because it is very faint. To observe it from Earth you’ll need a telescope — ideally with at least an 8-inch (20 cm) aperture or larger — and look toward the eastern to northeastern sky about 1–1.5 hours before sunrise on the mornings around that date. The comet will appear as a tiny fuzzy dot near the bright star Regulus in the constellation Leo rather than a dramatic tail. 3i atlas update 3i atlas live #trendingshorts #shortvideo #spaceexploration #3iatlas
