Across The Stars for Flute Ensemble | STAR WARS: EPISODE II

It's one of the best love themes in film music, in my opinion. I feel like John Williams' genius really shines in soundtracks like these, they're really powerful. One thing I like about arranging is getting the opportunity to familiarize yourself with a piece. I really like how John Williams builds up this theme and slowly breaks it down again. I had some difficulty with the ending of the piece though. It's times like these that I dislike my computer-generated soundfonts. I feel like you can only achieve the sound and timing of the actual soundtrack with real players and their instruments. Normally I don't really have any problems with the soundfont, as it allows me to "record" the arrangement as accurately as possible (in terms of articulations and overall sound in difficult ranges). I feel like this piece would truly come alive in a concert hall! #AcrossTheStars #StarWars #FluteEnsemble
