This MEW bringing ALL the SMOKE with OVERHEAT in Open Great League! | Pokemon GO Battle League PVP
In this video we take a look at 10 battles in Season 8 of the Pokemon GO Battle League (GBL) in the Open Great League featuring Mew, Azumarill and Talonflame. These battles were submitted to the channel by 'WuTangFinancial' and feature a lot of big bang moments with Mew running Overheat in the lead. This team features 3 meta Pokemon, but even so, the team is rated quite poorly on PvPoke with an "F" grade for coverage. This is in large part due to the move set on Mew, which doesn't necessarily provide the best coverage for the weaknesses to the back line. For example, something like Lanturn or Bastiodon could be a big problem for the backline, especially without Hydro Pump on Azumarill for the Bastiodon. Mew does not offer good coverage for these weaknesses with Overheat and Ice Beam. Despite this, Mew manages to benefit from the surprise factor, often seeing Overheat go unshielded and this can flip a lot of games when it does. Azumarill is the standard safe-switch on this team and is an XL sitting at around level 45. Talonflame operates as the closer and is extremely dangerous especially with an energy lead or shield advantage. Overall this is an extremely entertaining team that provides a lot of hard hitting moments and makes for some great battles. It is worth noting that these battles are not from 2 sets, but rather 10 battles selected by the trainer and submitted to the channel.
