This is the first sheet music video, which will be part of a series! I plan on eventually creating sheet music videos for all my compositions. ____________ ð Backstory: "Bittersweet Memories" is an original composition I wrote in August 2022. It's about reflecting on one's life and journey past, especially as one stumbles upon a memento. ____________ âĻ Highlights: I choose to go back and forth between the key of Ab major, and it's relative minor - F minor, using the same melody. This creates that contrast between happier and sadder emotions. -This key was chosen over other keys because it still allows depth of the lower tones of the piano to shine through while not letting the sound getting too muddy. -The bassline is purposeful and almost moves up and down diatonically.
