Contra (Famicom Version) Longplay

Like a great many people, I've got happy memories of playing the NES version of Contra with my father. We didn't do a whole lot of stuff together, including playing other video games, but we spent plenty of hours on Contra. Contra on the NES was, without a doubt, my favorite console video game. Not just because of the happy memories of playing with my dad, but because it's an awesome game. So, years later, when I got a copy of the Famicom version, I was surprised to see that it was actually, impossibly, BETTER than the NES version. There's just so much more, visually, to the Famicom release. I had a pretty good run going, but collapsed spectacularly during the Hangar level. While it was tempting to edit that terrific failure out of the video, I left it in, because I think it's pretty funny. Happy hobbying!
