Up the Mast at Rum Cay. E49

In this video on board our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran, we sail through the Bahamas to Long Island, Rum Cay, and Conception Island. In the process, we broke our Penn Senator fishing reel trying to land a Barracuda. Jeff drove on the wrong side of the road in Long Island before he killed our GoPro Hero 7 while diving Dean's Blue Hole. (They aren't meant to dive past 33'.) We installed a new jib halyard on our Leopard 45 sailing catamaran, because the old one was old and swollen - Just Like Jeff! Or so he says. Then, I had such an adventure being hoisted up the mast to check the rigging, where I promptly got seasick from all the swaying 70 feet in the air. Who gets seasick in the air? Finally, we landed a 36" Mahi with our Penn Squall and went up the river at Conception Island where we found some beautiful Spotted Eagle Rays swimming in formation. We had a great time, and we hope that you will, too, as we continue our journey through The Bahamas. Thanks for watching!
