Gary Brown Jr., former top aide to Mayor Pugh, sentenced to prison

Former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh's former aide Gary Brown Jr. was sentenced Friday to 27 months in federal prison. Brown, 38, was sentenced for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, two counts of conspiracy to defraud the United States and for filing a false tax return. The judge also ordered Brown to pay restitution of $14,000. His prison term is to be followed by three years of supervised release.
