This workshop allowed the attendees to get their hands on nftables, this includes: Installation and configuration. Basic table, chain, rule and set configurations. Understanding error reporting. Atomic ruleset restoration from file. Scripting capabilities. Event monitoring. Interactive shell. Among many other practical aspect of the new command line utility. Biography: Pablo Neira Ayuso is the current Netfilter maintainer and head of the Netfilter coreteam. By now, he is involved in the Linux networking community for about ten years.
