Welcome to Episode 6 of our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth walkthrough! This episode takes us back into the main story as we journey deeper into Sephiroth’s trail and face terrifying new enemies. Using Chocobos to swim across the swamps, Cloud and the team spot a mysterious lifeless-looking man near the water. At first, Cloud mistakes him for Sephiroth, but something about this strange figure is unsettling. Suddenly, they are ambushed by the massive swamp-dwelling Midgardsormr! After a fierce battle, the beast nearly overwhelms the team, dragging Cloud underwater—but in a shocking moment, Sephiroth appears to rescue him. With the Midgardsormr defeated, our heroes continue their journey, arriving at the entrance of a dark cavern. Chapter 3: Deeper into Darkness begins! Inside the Mythril Mine, the group encounters eerie hooded figures, seemingly drawn to Sephiroth’s presence. Battling through the mine’s underground tunnels, Cloud’s team faces Shinra operatives Elena and Rude, but Tseng arrives to save them after their victory. Meanwhile, Barret and Red XIII, temporarily separated due to a collapsing tunnel, must take down the powerful Mythril Golem.
