Mammoth Cave National Park hike 2025 | Kentucky Historic Entrance River Styx Spring shutdown

Hike with us near the main visitor center of Mammoth Cave National Park! Path is Visitor Center to Historic Entrance Dixon Cave Trail to Dixon Cave Green River Trail to River Styx Spring Two Springs Trail to Echo River Springs Whites Cave Trail to campgrounds, and back to the Visitor Center. Then examines the museum within the Visitor Center, which was open with a skeleton staff during the shutdown. Final, leaving the park to the east, stop for a quick hike down Sand Cave Trail. Recorded October 2025, when cave tours were canceled to the government shutdown.
