Erika’s Grass arena? Yeah… Grass vs. Grass. Hope you like long battles. Of course, right out of the gate we hit the one wall that can really grind a run to a halt — Misty’s Round 1. Her team isn’t just Water-typed, it resists our Water attacks, cutting the damage we can do by half because of the type chart. To break through that, we’re banking on our own rental Starmie’s Thunder, hoping for the RNG to bless a couple of accuracy rolls — hit our Thunder, have her Staryu/Starmie miss theirs — and flip the script despite the resistance mechanics working against us. This might be our only real shot to clear that matchup within a strict Water monotype run.
