Assault Landing by RAAF C-17A Globemaster III Strategic Airlifter

Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-17A Globemaster III strategic airlifter has conducted assault landings at Bradshaw Field Training Area. The landing of the aircraft, assigned to RAAF No. 36 Squadron, was in support of Exercise Diamond Storm. In addition to Bradshaw Field Training Area, the aircraft was flown into another austere environment, Nackeroo, or exercise tasking, as well as to provide much needed resupply and support to deployed personnel in these remote areas.
