A couple of hours before the start of the 1999 ARCA race at Talladega, the cars were lined up on the grid and a young man in a Real Tree shirt was standing alone in his garage stall. But before going out finishing third in his second (& final) ARCA race, Kevin Harvick granted us this interview in which he shared his most memorable race, worst wreck, and if he could change his sport. how would he do that? He was polite, cordial and self-confident. And looking back into these archives, it's interesting to hear the perspective of a now legend who was then just getting started!
