Whether you're single, in a relationship, or just not ready to have kids, it's okay! We're here to help you take that pressure off with egg freezing. Here’s How It Works: Assessment: Come in for an ultrasound to count your available eggs. Blood Tests: You'll need some preliminary blood tests. Stimulation: Starting on day 2 or 3 of your period, you'll receive injections for about 11 days. Egg Retrieval: On day 13, we retrieve the eggs and freeze them on the same day. They can stay frozen for up to 50 years! This two-week process gives you the freedom to decide when you want to have kids without the ticking clock. Why Consider Egg Freezing? Provides a backup plan, giving you peace of mind. Most people don’t need to use their frozen eggs because they conceive naturally, but for the 15% who do, it's a lifesaver. It’s similar to the beginning of an IVF cycle, stimulating all available eggs to grow at the same time. Age and Egg Quality: Best time to freeze eggs is between 25 and 35. Younger women (25-35) can expect to get 15-20 eggs per cycle. Women closer to 35 might get 8-10 eggs per cycle. Planning Your Family: Under 35, you need about 4 eggs to make one normal embryo. For two kids, aim for at least 8 eggs. Over 35, you need about 5 eggs for one normal embryo. For two kids, aim for at least 10 eggs.
