Casual online gameplay of Balloon Battle in Mario Kart Wii via the Nintendo WFC (worldwide), played by me, recorded on May 25th, 2012. Original title: "Ridiculous item luck is ridiculous" Custom music is listed in the video description! This video originally had text annotations - an idea inspired from Jughead870, and a now discontinued YouTube feature. If anyone is dedicated enough to read a full video description, I applaud you, but I must warn: the original description (found below) MAY come across as wordy and salty! Have fun watching this casual battle gameplay, lol TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Voting 0:52 GBA Battle Arena 3 / GBA Arène Bataille 3 CUSTOM MUSIC battle intro (WFC): "Shine Thief" from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! battle stage (GBA BA3): "Boss Battle" from Final Fantasy IV (DS) battle results (DRAW): "Draw Game" from Bomberman 64, then: "All-Star Rest Area" from Super Smash Bros. Brawl ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION "Finally I am able to record gameplay footage with my Dazzle DVC and the cabling I ordered a few days ago. I originally recorded this video from S-Video with 2 RCA/phono cables (which I thought would give me acceptable 'quality'), but it had a lot of vague noise crossing the image (resulting in somewhat inefficient compression results) as well as some saturation issues I won't be able to fix with S-Video (noticeable on the mega mushroom sprite, bomb explosions, etc)... As for an alternative to S-Video, there remains composite/RCA but for this I have to move one of the audio RCA cables onto the video RCA plug (which leaves only one audio channel) so long as I don't have another 5-meter RCA cable... Either way, this video features a battle in which I couldn't attack reliably because I kept pulling power items but couldn't use them right! Have you ever had 5 stars, 13 mushrooms (two triples near the end), 3 mega mushrooms, 6 red shells, and one Blooper in a single battle without hacks? One would expect me to be able to hit foes with all those power items, but I couldn't land even a single point with them... (I'd blame both the worldwide lag and the usage of lightweight vehicles) In the end, only 2 of my hits have registered - one of which was lost because I got eliminated once. It's amusing how inaccurate i was with my reds While some of my decisions might have been bad (feel free to comment on them), sooooo many stuff went wrong that could've worked out (such as my green snipe at 2m00s to make up for my elimination earlier, the bomb snipe at 2m35s that renders my red shell useless, and a green shell that breaks one of my red ones at 3m53s). This battle was way too unfair to me, believe me or not!"
