Rodrick- It was hot! Bear with me during this video. The family members of Rodney Reed issued a statement the day after the final evening of the 2019 Starvin' For Justice Fast and Vigil in Washington DC. Rodney Reed's brothers opened the message thanking their supporters then proceeded to explain that the purpose of their SCOTUS visit was to keep the awareness and heat on Rodney’s case. When asked if there was anything he would like to say to the US Supreme Court, Rodrick Reed replied, "For the US Supreme Court, we ask you, though, if we do get an opportunity to bring this case before you, that we have your ear and your heart and you use what they call integrity when you make your decision. That's all that we ask." The brothers also spoke on how they stand in solidarity with other death row families, their love for Rodney, and how they're continuing their fight for justice until Rodney is home and exonerated. They then went on to say they will continue to fight until the death penalty system is abolished even after Rodney is home. Rodrick Reed mentioned that the shirts the Reed family wore while in DC, which included QR codes linking to information pertinent to Rodney's case, will be available online during the week of July 8, 2019 along with several other shirts. The website these shirts can be found is www.ReedJusticeInitiative.com/shop.
