Cleansing of the Leper: Ephiphany 6, Mark1:40-45

Both the Hebrew scripture reading concerning Naaman and the Gospel of Mark talk about cleansing of a leper. Could the bigger point be that we often think we have incurable or unforgivable illness/sin and yet find God is there to forgive? If we are "made clean" it then becomes impossible not to spread the Good News!
