What happens to Jews, Muslims, and others who never truly knew the real Jesus? In this heartfelt and deeply biblical teaching, Sam Shamoun answers a difficult question from a man whose Jewish grandfather survived the Holocaust and later became very devout. Does God condemn people who never had a clear presentation of the gospel—or who only knew a distorted caricature of Jesus? Sam walks through Scripture to show that while no one is saved apart from Christ, God meets people in their circumstances. Those who to no fault of their own never encountered the true Jesus but sought to live upright lives may still be saved because of what Christ did on the cross. Their theology is perfected on the other side. Sam also addresses the tragic history of how many Jews came to associate Christianity with persecution, violence, and even genocide—obscuring the fact that the New Testament is a profoundly Jewish book and that Jesus Himself is the Jewish Messiah. He shares testimonies of Orthodox rabbis shocked to discover the Jewishness of the New Testament and of Jesus. Drawing from Genesis 18, Acts 14, Acts 17, and Galatians 3, Sam shows how the Judge of all the earth does what is right and why there is neither Jew nor Gentile, Israeli nor Palestinian, in Christ. Finally, Sam warns that greater knowledge brings greater responsibility. While God may graciously save those who never heard the true gospel, those who now hear and resist will face a stricter judgment. Jesus is not pro-Zionist, pro-Palestinian, or tied to any earthly kingdom or political party—He is for the kingdom of God. All who belong to Christ are truly Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. ⏱️ Timestamps 0:00 Introduction: The question about a Holocaust survivor grandfather 0:45 Does God accept righteous Jews, Muslims, and others who never knew Jesus? 2:15 Distorted history: why many Jews associate Jesus with persecution 3:36 The New Testament is a Jewish book: rabbis discover the real Jesus 5:00 When does someone become truly accountable for rejecting Christ? 6:04 Genesis 18: Abraham appeals to the Judge of all the earth 8:00 “Neither Jew nor Palestinian”: Jesus’ love transcends all nations 10:12 Jesus and political kingdoms: not Zionist, not Democrat, not Republican 12:00 Greater knowledge brings greater responsibility 13:20 All who belong to Christ are Abraham’s seed and heirs of the promise 💬 Did this teaching help you understand God’s justice and mercy toward those who never truly knew Jesus?
