MSFS 2024 | BOOM XB-1 SUPERSONIC LANDING AT CAPE CANAVERAL | 4K Landing a supersonic beast at NASA’s backyard! 🚀 Today we are taking the Boom XB-1 to the legendary Cape Canaveral (Kennedy Space Center) in MSFS 2024. The Landing Challenge: Landing this experimental aircraft is a high-speed adrenaline rush. Due to its delta-wing design, the XB-1 requires: EXTREME FLARE (High Angle of Attack): You have to keep the nose pitched up high to maintain lift at lower speeds, which completely blocks the forward view! Luckily, we can stay on track by looking through the instruments. HIGH APPROACH SPEED: The touchdown speed is incredibly high, leaving zero room for error. BRAKING: In real life, the XB-1 uses a drag parachute to slow down. Since this feature is currently missing in MSFS 2024, I had to rely heavily on the wheel brakes to stop this supersonic jet on the massive NASA runway.
