Jamie Raskin delivered a speech on the first night of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), where he emphasized former president Donald Trump's role in the Jan. 6 insurrection and his relationship with former vice-president Mike Pence, who for the first time in more than two centuries, did not endorse the president he served within a general election. "JD Vance, do you understand why there was a sudden job opening for running mate on the GOP ticket?" He asked. "They tried to kill your predecessor... because he would not follow Trump's plan to destroy and nullify the votes of millions of Americans."
