Lightning strikes protesters in Brasília, injuring dozens | DF no Ar

A lightning strike hit a group of people during a demonstration of supporters of former President Jair Bolsonaro in Cruzeiro Square, in Brasília. The incident left at least eight people in serious condition and more than 70 presented effects related to the lightning strike. Fire Department teams attended to the victims at the scene and transported another 30 to hospitals. The incident was recorded near the JK Memorial during heavy rain. Some victims reported symptoms such as hypothermia and disorientation. An 18-year-old girl was among the injured, describing headaches and difficulty speaking, as well as burns on her arm. #RECORD #RecordBrasília
