Io Shirai vs Candice LeRae in NXT TAKEOVER ON OCT 4 GONNA BE LIT!!!!

This is gonna be a great feuds between Io Shirai and Candice LaRae to make a great main event story in NXT takeover 2020. Candice LaRae will finally shine on her own by proving Io Shirai that she can beat her in NXT takeover. Candice LeRae is a bump machine. That’s the first thing that has to be said about her. She certainly had no shortage of opportunities to show it off wrestling for a promotion known for big spots in PWG, especially because she spent such a significant amount of her time wrestling intergender matches. She has also shown off her bumping fearlessness on a number of occasions in NXT, in gimmick matches ranging from ladders to the first-ever women’s WarGames match. In addition to that strength, she is one of the better female high-flyers anywhere, employing, among other signature maneuvers, an eye-popping suicide dive-tornado DDT combination that she pulls out when it’s time to give a match some juice. Though she tends to wrestle a particular style that may not appeal to everyone, relying heavily on thrilling high spots, she does that style at a high level. As for the soft skills, she’s typically at her best playing an underdog babyface role, which is one reason she excelled in her trademark intergender matches on the independent circuit. Her heel work has been scant to this point, so perhaps we will get an opportunity to see a new dimension of her in the coming months. It’s certainly something to keep an eye on.
