The Wayans Bros Promo Premiering September 20 on WGN Entertaining America (September 3,1999)

Local Promo for the syndicated airings of The WB Comedy Series The Wayans Bros to begin its run on Off Network Syndication September 20,1999 during the Fall 1999 Season, It will air Weekdays on WGN Entertaining America. This promo aired between commercial breaks during the Repeat Airing of the 5th Episode of the 2nd Season of The New Batman Adventures “Old Wounds” (Originally Aired October 3,1998) as well as the 7th Episode of the 3rd Season of Superman:The Animated Series “In Brightest Day” (originally aired February 6,1999) which reaired under the The New Batman/Superman Adventures on Kids WB Weekday Afternoon Block September 3,1999 on the national superstation feed of WGN which served as the de facto WB Affiliate on cable and satellite outside the Chicago area. The WB programming would be removed from the National WGN come the Fall of 1999 beginning with Kids WB replaced by shows from off network syndication which took affect on September 6,1999 followed by WB Primetime programming replaced by movies on October 7,1999. The WB affiliation remained on WGN in Chicago until September 17,2006 when WGN-TV became Chicago’s charter CW Affiliate, on September 1,2016 WGN-TV reverted back to an independent station after 21 years with network affiliation. The National WGN would convert to a basic cable network known as WGN America on December 14,2014 which lasted until February 28,2021. As of March 1,2021 it is known as NewsNation. This came from a VHS Recording I received in the mail I got from a VHS Recording related group on Facebook. #TheWB30thAnniversary #KidsWB30thAnniversary *This was from the final two days of Kids WB Programming which aired on the Superstation Feed of WGN carried on Cable and Satellite nationally outside of the Chicago area known as WGN Entertaining America between August 30,1999-September 3,1999 as well as the Kids WB Saturday Morning Block airing on Superstation WGN on September 5,1999 because the following day on September 6,1999 Kids WB Programming would be replaced with syndicated programming while WB Primetime Programming would air on the National WGN for the last time on October 6,1999 and it would be replaced with theatrical movies the following day October 7,1999 shortly after it was announced January 27,1999 that WB Programming would be dropped from the National Superstation Feed of WGN at the beginning of the Fall 1999 Season. *PS The Wayans Bros aired on WGN (both The Chicago feed as well as the national superstation feed) in first run on The WB from its premiere on January 11,1995 until the end of its five season run on May 20,1999. The Wayans Bros is also one of the four series from The WB along with 7th Heaven, The Parent Hood as well as Sister, Sister to air on WGN both in first run as well as syndication form
