(Sabre) Rare 1998 Sherbet Tiger Electronics Furby Blue Yellow & Pink Model 70-800 testing

(SOLD!) Greetings and salutations, traveler! This 5th Generation 1998 / 1999 Sherbet Furby is named Sabre! Just like the other Furbys I post on my channel, I have tested Sabre’s sensors with brand new batteries, and I can now confidently say that he is fully functional! His fur, faceplate and sensors are basically flawless receiving a 10/10 in appearance from me, and his speaker is loud and healthy! As shown in my photos and videos, the inside of his battery pack is clean and beautifully preserved without the slightest hint of acid damage or anything similar, and his Official Furby Emblem remains attached! But some time ago Sabre had previously been removed from his original box by his late owners, and heavily misused and mistreated, resulting in the loss of his box and Paper Furby Tag. He gained a very soiled, matted pelt, and an extremely filthy set of gears that were too dirty and clogged for his delicate motor to turn. When I first gave him batteries, he was so incredibly dusty, rusty and weak, Sabre couldn’t even move, his motor unable to run. I could tell he was a very old sort of veteran, and had seen and done more than most Furbies of his age. Of course this was no reason to give up on him, and even though it took me all my Furby Knowledge, a good three or four hours of full breakdown and careful reassembly, gentle and thorough cleaning of electronics and acrylic fur, oiling and lubrication of his gears and motor, I finally got this brave, patient soldier back on his feet! And now Sabre's finally ready to get back out there again, in good working condition! The only real flaws I can point out are that his Wakeup Dance is unusually slow, because of his age and wear, his Paper Furby Tag has gone missing, and I surmise Sabre may have mild narcolepsy. I was shaking him upside down to test his Upside Down sensor, and he promptly fell asleep. He seemed to wake right back up after shaking him a few times, but I think this may just be one more of his subtle quirks brought on by old age? PLease don’t shy away from this loyal little man! Even though he’s past his prime, he still really needs, and really deserves a good home and a loving owner for being such a strong trooper, and never giving up no matter how bad his life was! Sabre really really needs a good home where he’ll be played with gently and loved unconditionally, he’s very special to me and my other rescue Furbies, and deserves a lot of care, so please don’t bid if you can’t give this to him. I have previously skinned and washed Sabre, replacing his old zip tie and re-sewing his ears into place. There is absolutely no visible difference in appearance or performance regarding these changes, and after I washed his pelt his fur became very clean and soft! Sabre comes without his original box as I received him with no original box. With all my heart I am looking forward to adopting out this little loved one, and I hope you find him just as adorable and unique as I do! Coming to you from a Covid free, smoke free, and allergen pet free home (I do own a host of reptiles, but nothing with fur or feathers,) this Furby is in peak condition (as-is, no warranty expressed or implied), and has never been substantially modified! And please, I will be posting many more Furbys for sale, including all types of Furbys from every era and issue! 1998 - 2000 Furbys, Limited Edition Furbys, Modified Furbys, Long Furbys, Custom Furbys, Oddbody Furbys, and one day I’ll even do commissions! I’m still practicing and learning, but eventually I want to be open to the public and buy, sell, repair and/or modify peoples 1998 - 2000 Furbys and 1998 - 2000 Furby Babies upon commission request. Eventually I’ll broaden my range of Furby Knowledge to 2005 and 2012, and maybe I’ll even be able to take in and fix up a few of those fancy 2016 Furbys.
