Mangalore Style Shark Fish Curry | Shark Fish Curry | Easy Baby Shark Fish Curry

Mangalore Style Shark Fish Curry | Shark Fish Curry | Easy Baby Shark Fish Curry 15-20 Shark pieces (skin removed). Skin comes off easily. It's important to remove the skin as it's chewy. For the masala paste: 15-20 bedgi chilies/dried red chilies 2 ½ tbsp coriander seeds 5-6 fenugreek seeds/methi 3-4 black peppercorns ¼ tsp carom seeds/ova/ajwain ¼ tsp cumin seeds 3 tbsp oil Fry the above ingredients for 1 minute on medium heat. Then add 1 large onion roughly chopped. Fry for 1 minute on medium heat. Blend with 4-5 cloves of garlic 1 lemon size ball of tamarind ½ cup fresh grated coconut ½ cup water for blending Blend to a smooth paste and keep aside. More ingredients for tempering: 2-3 cloves 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste Turmeric 1/2 Tsp 1 large tomato chopped Salt to taste 2-3 tbsp oil Heat oil and add the cloves, ginger-garlic paste and tomato. Sauté until oil separates. Add ground masala, turmeric, salt, and water. Bring to a boil and add the shark fish pieces. Mix, cover and cook on medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
