Damage Problem Solved Dream Of The Wise Awaits Nioh 2 Dream Of Demon Otakemaru Fight Final Highlight

Welcome everyone to a final highlight    • Damage Problem Solved Dream Of The Wise Aw...   from Dream of the Demon difficulty in Nioh 2. I, Alexandr, also known as Xandrevets, had managed to partially solve a damage problem, that my character had. You see, some builds in this game works on their full potential, only when you've managed to get your hands on all the necessary equipment. Here I'm not talking about burst damage, that you can do with the help of the feathers from ninjutsu tree, or onmyo magic spells. I'm talking about doing high damage numbers to the enemies consistently. Sadly, the stuff that I need for my build starts dropping only on Dream of the Nioh difficulty. However, with some changes I was able to make an improvement of my own damage numbers. I've done it via synergy spells from a water amulet and lighting familiar for the sake of procking confusion effect and slow down the movement as well as lower down the defense. Additionally, I've tuned in my weapon skills, so that now they will deal either extra ki damage, or get a scaling from one of my main stats. In this case it is heart and courage. My weapon got a stat, that boosts my attack rating with the scaling letter A. Finally, against certain foes, I'm using water sword skill when they're out of ki and falling on the floor. It does massive damage to their health, but you have to use it carefully. When a target isn't big enough your hits will whiff, or when a target has a quick wake up attack I find it pointless to use water sword skill, because of the slow startup and recovery frames. All of this had culminated in a fight against Otakemaru. He had some new moves, but they weren't dangerous to me at all. Nonetheless, I want to thank everyone, who had helped me to understand the process of damage increase in this game. You guys are the best!
