Okay, at number 5, this is one of the most talked about horror movies this Halloween -- we're talking about Carrie!!! -- and that's because the remake starring Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore just hit theatres today. So the infamous scene showcases the bullied teen getting soaked in pig's blood at the prom -- freaking kids -- and the movie poster shows it all. You should watch the original film, based on Stephen King's 1974 novel, and then try out the new movie for creepy comparisons sake! -- I definitely want to see how the telekinisis powers change!! -- Halloween just isn't Halloween without a lotta blood! -- Eeeew. . Next up on our countdown, we're taking you to the dark, twisted side of humanity. -- The Saw series -- Dang, I remember seeing each of these seven movies in theatres and being completely freaked out that Jigsaw was going to hunt me down. -- the sheer fact that each film in the franchise opened at the box office right before Halloween is straight up awesome.—Saw made our Top 5 because of the endless game of who's who, tortured victim after victim -- some of that shit is fucked up! -- and legit box office success for each story -- we're talking more than 800-million bucks worldwide overall. . Okay so we've made it to number 3 on our list of best Halloween movies. This one is brilliant. Nightmare Before Christmas -- Did you just say Christmas, girl?! -- oh yes, I did because this is the nightmare befoooore Christmas. It's a Tim Burton original, so you can expect artistic ??????????? . Up next, The Shining made the cut. -- Red Rum, Red Rum, Red Rum -- This is a classic horror movie starring the Jack Nicholson. He and his family head out to an isolated hotel so he can get some writing inspiration and there's evil and ghosts and the son really gets the short end of the stick since he's psychic and sees crazy nonsense. -- Red Rum, Red Rum, Red Rum -- This is based on a Stephen King novel -- who obviously knows his stuff -- and Stanley Kubrick directed The Shining -- nuff said -- You gotta watch The Shining this Halloween, whether you've seen it before or not. Before we reveal the big number 1 Halloween movie, I need to again remind you that there are tons of really good films to celebrate All Hallows Eve -- this should probably actually be a Top 15 Friday -- so let's give some shoutouts!! --( list movies in closeup, very fast cuts!) Oh man... do I smell a movie marathon a'cooking?! . Alright, at number 1 with no competition -- seriously this is a cult classic -- it's Hocus Pocus!!!
