Relive one of Konami’s most iconic beat ’em ups in this full longplay walkthrough of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, played on Hard difficulty. Originally released as an arcade game in 1991, Turtles in Time is a sequel to the classic TMNT arcade hit and is based largely on the beloved 1987 animated series. The SNES version arrived in 1992, continuing the numbering from the earlier NES titles and featuring exclusive content not found in the arcade original. O V E R V I E W: The game opens on a quiet Sunday evening as the Turtles watch April O’Neil reporting live from Liberty Island. Chaos erupts when Super Krang swoops in and steals the Statue of Liberty, followed by Shredder hijacking the broadcast to mock our heroes. The Turtles leap into action, battling the Foot Clan across downtown New York, the city streets, and the sewers, before being hurled through a time warp by Shredder. From the distant past to the far future, the Turtles must fight their way through Shredder’s army to restore the timeline, defeat their nemesis, and return the Statue of Liberty to its rightful place. T I P S: You should almost always be attacking or dodging — never just stand still. Killing enemies earns points. Every 200 points grants you an extra life. Try to use the slam attack often. Any enemy slammed explodes instantly and earns you two points. Special attacks drain your health, but only if you actually hit an enemy — use them wisely. Jump kicks are great for taking out Mousers and robots safely. When you get a red box, move left and right across the screen to maximise kills instead of standing in one spot. Use the bulldozer against shielded soldiers. A well-timed special attack will also finish them off. Only grab a pizza when your health is low. If you’re forced to move on with full health, take it anyway for bonus points.
