The Management Department at GW School of Business (GWSB) hosts a variety of programs that give students real-world exposure before getting a job in the sport, hospitality, tourism, or entrepreneurship industries. Ranked #16 among U.S. Institutions for Graduate Management by QS World University Rankings, and #5 worldwide for Sport Management by SportsBusiness, the GW Business management programs are globally recognized as the ideal place to learn from expert faculty while being blocks away from over 1,000 internationally owned corporations. The three graduate programs under the Department of Management, some of which are decades in the making, are the MS in Management (MiM), MS in Sport Management (MSSM), Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), and MS in Tourism, Hospitality, and Event Management (MSTHEM). While all these programs focus on different things, they share one undeniable trait: they give students a global perspective and pave paths for impact. Through advocacy work on the National Mall, close interactions with sports teams and stadiums, and connecting with management professionals in the DMV, students can find their niche and build momentum toward a career in companies such as Deloitte, the NBA, and Marriott International. Hear from Stuart Levy (teaching associate professor of management), Lisa Delpy Neirotti (associate professor of sport management and director of the MS in Sport Management program), and Kathy Kormen Frey (industry instructor of entrepreneurship and director of the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence), as they give a synopsis of what a true GW Business experience is like, and how students are shape to be actionable business leaders. #GWSB #GeorgeWashingtonUniversity #WashingtonDC #CareerGrowth #BusinessEducation #Management #BSinEntrepreneurship #MSinManagement #MSinSportManagement #MSinTourismHospitalityandEventManagement #FormingConnections
