A Step Ahead Chess Bahamas - Chess in the Windy City!

This year A Step Ahead Chess took the team to Chicago, and came away with both individual and team awards with another 1st Place Winner! Watch some of our most memorable moments in this special video: Music: “God’s Plan” by Drake (I do not own the rights to this music) While in Chicago we had fun exploring and experienced some great activities including: -Health is wealth talk at Fruve Xpress on the importance of eating healthy at a young age -Guided tour at the DuSable Museum of African American History -Chess exhibition at the Glenwood Chess Club -Numbers in Nature Exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry -Good times Downtown at Navy Pier -Great moments at Millennium Park -Seeing what 103 floors up looks like at The Sky Deck in Willis (Sears) Tower -An amazing competition at the 115th KUMBAYA Chess Tournament in Skokie, IL, were our young players earned some great awards and recognition!
