Rep. Kinzinger on CBS: January 6th Hearings, Election Lies, The State of Democracy

On June 10th, 2022, U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) joined ‘CBS Mornings’ to discuss the January 6th Select Committee’s first public hearing. Specifically, the Congressman discussed the role of the Trump administration in perpetuating election conspiracies which inspired the attack on the Capitol, and the need to protect democratic practices in the United States. Rep. Kinzinger also expressed his support for a potential prosecution of former President Trump by the Department of Justice. ----- Adam Kinzinger is a common-sense conservative who believes servant leadership, a pragmatic approach, and civil discourse are essential to resolving the issues we face today.
