The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for thunderstorms with gusty winds in multiple northern districts. By Friday (Aug 29), rainfall is expected to intensify in parts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, and Bhadradri Kothagudem. Experts warn that continued rainfall could swell rivers and rivulets, increasing the risk of flooding in low-lying villages. On Saturday (Aug 30), while the intensity of rainfall may reduce slightly, isolated heavy showers are still forecast in Warangal, Nirmal, and Komaram Bheem Asifabad.
