Ever seen a bamboo tree is growing from a seed? In this time-lapse, we chose a bamboo variety called "Moso". The bamboo seed was sowed directly into soil. It sprouted after 3 weeks but grew slowly during the first 3 months. After that, it sped up little and developed lots of bamboo shoots. Each of those tiny youngsters quickly turned into a plant. At the end of the video, our bamboo became bushier and keep developing new shoots every week. Fact: Bamboo is tree-like. It's actually a type of grass, because its root system is shallow and spreads wide.
