At least 10 people killed in Somalia car bomb explosion

At least 10 people have been killed in a car bombing in the capital Mogadishu. The blast took place early on Monday in a busy street near a hotel in the city. A number of people have been wounded. It's the second explosion reported in Mogadishu on Monday. No group has yet claimed responsibility, but the attacks bear the hallmarks of Somali militant group al-Shabaab. Meanwhile, protests have also taken place at the weekend in Mogadishu over unpaid salaries. Security and corruption are the two main challenges new President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo is contending with.
