Cold War museum with must-see socialist art and brutalist architecture

See highlights of The Socialist Art Museum in Sofia, Bulgaria - a former Eastern Bloc communist state from an era when it was under the influence of the USSR propoganda machine. The museum can be found in Bulgaria's capital at Lachezar Stanchev 7, 1756, Sofia. The nearest underground Metro station is G.M Dimitrov on the yellow line, a 5-10 minute walk away The Museum of Socialist Art is open Tuesday to Sunday 10am - 6pm, but the ticket office closes at 5.30pm. It is closed on Mondays.
