Tinolang Manok Sa Gata I How to Cook Tinola with Malunggay

Tinolang Manok Sa Gata Ingredients 1 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces 1 medium size onion, sliced 5 cloves garlic, crushed 1 small green papaya, cut into wedges 3 Thumb sized ginger, cut into strips 2 pieces birds eye chili (Siling Labuyo) 2 1/2 cups coconut milk 2 chicken cubes 2 1/2 cup Water 1/2 ground black pepper 2 Tbsp Fish Sauce (Patis) 1 Bunch Malunggay Leaves Cooking Oil 1. In a pan heat oil over medium heat. Saute onion, garlic and ginger until limp and aromatic. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned.‎ Pour coconut milk and let it boil. Season with ground black pepper. Then add birds eye chili (siling labuyo). Cook until the chicken is tender. 2. Add green papaya, cook for 6-7 minutes. Add water and bring to a simmer. Add chicken cubes and malunggay leaves. Season with fish sauce (patis). Simmer for 3 minutes then turn off the heat. Enjoy!
