BASEBALL NEWS CLUB ðĨðĨâūïļ Jr. Valentine was hit in the face by a bad throw by STL SS Edmundo Sosa. Valentine is a rookie umpire and was able to shake it off and stay in the game. Odd part, ball was hit by Kevin Pillar whom was also hit in the face this year, but by a fastball vs a SS throw.
