A joint team of DRG and Bastar Fighters killed Naxalite Rajesh Punem, carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakh, in an encounter during an anti-Maoist operation. Following the encounter, security forces recovered SLRs, INSAS rifles, pistols, and a large quantity of Naxalite material from the scene.
